Home    »    About Us John Bazylewicz has been the President of Beach Lawn Care since 2006 and involved fulltime in the landscaping industry for five years. He has worked South Carolina (Low Country) and Virginia (Tidewater). Prior to starting a landscaping businesses John earned a B.A. in History from the University of Missouri. After graduating from college he was commissioned as a 2nd Lt in the United States Marine Corps. John served 6 yrs in the Marine Corps with various assignments as a logistics officer. John has traveled to; Crete, United Arabia Emirates, Spain, Germany, Austria, Portugal, Greece, Albania, Italy, Senegal, Liberia, Argentina, Brazil. John left the Marine Corps as a Captain in 2004. John started Lawns and More in Charleston, SC in 2004 and has been employed fulltime in the Landscaping industry every since.. Certifications John is certified as an Interlocking Concrete Pavement Installer by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute and certified by the National Concrete and Masonry Association for segmental retaining wall installation. John holds a class B Virginia State Contractor’s licenses with a Building classification and a Virginia Fertilizer/ Liming permit, and Commercial Pesticide Applicator’s License from the State of Virginia. Interests and Associations John and his wife are active in their local civic league. They enjoy boating, and family activities. John enjoys working on cars, and engines, is a certified automotive technician, and is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association. In his spare time John is earning his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University.
